Conference SSE and the Commons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\">The third international conference \u201cSocial Solidarity Economy and the Commons\u201d will be a meeting point for researchers, activists, public officials and social entrepreneurs involved in social and solidarity economy, governance of the commons and new social movements in different parts of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\">The conference will take place from the<strong>\u00a08th to 10th of November 2023<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iscte-iul.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instituto Universit\u00e1rio de Lisboa<\/a>\u00a0(ISCTE-IUL) in Lisbon, Portugal<\/strong>. The aim is to co-create an open, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary space for exchange of knowledge and socio-political experiences on new approaches to economic organisation and governance based in solidarity, cooperation and common ownership from across the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\">The conference is organized by the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cei.iscte-iul.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre for International Studies<\/a>\u00a0(CEI-IUL)<\/strong>, with the support of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iscte-iul.pt\/conteudos\/iscteiul\/organization\/departments\/political-economy\/425\/presentation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0<strong>Department of Political Economy at ISCTE-IUL<\/strong><\/a>, the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ces.uc.pt\/pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Center for Social Studies<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(CES)<\/strong>\u00a0at the Coimbra University, the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ufal.br\/ufal\/pesquisa-e-inovacao\/empreendedorismo\/incubadoras\/incubadora-tecnologica-de-economia-solidaria-ites\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Solidarity Economy Incubator at the Federal University of Alagoas<\/a>\u00a0(UFAL)<\/strong>\u00a0in Brazil,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorksj.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">York St John University<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wu.ac.at\/en\/ecolecon\/institute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vienna University of Economics and Business<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(WU Vienna) This document launches the conference\u2019s call for contributions. It also includes information about organization of the conference, the topics addressed, registration details and participation costs.
