Systematization of the webinar: The new normal in dispute. Transformative proposals from the solidarity and feminist economy

We share the systematization of the webinar held between REAS Red de Redes and DAWN Network on June 30th in the framework of the World Social Forum on Transformative Economies: The new normal in dispute: Transformative proposals from the solidarity & feminist economy. REAS Red de Redes was joined by Marian Díez, Advisor on Feminisms at the REAS Confederal, Zaloa Pérez Hernandorena from REAS Euskadi and Conchi Piñeiro from REAS Madrid.

On the importance of the dialogue between the solidarity economy and the feminist economy, from its principles and theoretical perspective, REAS Red de Redes considers that in reality, the solidarity economy is «a living proposal, a proposal in transformation». The process of analysis and reflection is having important consequences within REAS, where we are reviewing its principles, how they are defined and thought about.

It is necessary to radically transform this current system and a radical transformation must be feminist or it will not be able to
